The Core Programs of The Live Like Delaney Foundation

Purpose: To encourage people to recognize the dignity and beauty in every person and spread kindness through simple acts of encouragement.

Examples of this program:

  • “You are beautiful. Love, Delaney.” cards distributed in communities

  • kindness stickers, bookmarks, and outreach materials

  • benches placed in parks and public spaces with Delaney’s message

  • billboards and public displays promoting kindness

  • encouraging people to share compliments with strangers the way Delaney did

Long-term vision: Communities across the country spreading Delaney’s message of kindness.

Delaney Kindness Scholarship

Purpose: To recognize young people who reflect Delaney’s compassion and character.

 Examples:

  • scholarships for students who demonstrate kindness and leadership

  • awards recognizing students who uplift others

  • expanding scholarships to multiple schools over time

This keeps the focus on character over achievement, which feels very true to Delaney.
