Join Us as We Fill Our Community with Kindness, Color & Joy!
The Live Like Delaney Foundation invites families, friends, neighbors, schools, and businesses to participate in Chalk the Walk 2026—a community-wide celebration of kindness inspired by the beautiful spirit of Delaney Anne Kilbane.
On Saturday, August 15, we'll transform sidewalks and driveways of Avon Lake into colorful reminders of hope, love, and compassion. Whether you're an experienced artist or simply love creating with sidewalk chalk, everyone is welcome to participate!
How It Works
❤️ Register to participate.
🎨 The first 50 registered participants will receive a FREE chalk pack to help bring their masterpiece to life!
❤️ Create your chalk design on Saturday, August 15, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Designs must be created and submitted during this time window. Entries submitted outside of these hours will not be eligible for judging.
❤️ Share your masterpiece by 12:00 p.m. by:

Win Fun Summer Prizes!
Everyone who registers and submits their completed design by noon on July 18 will be entered for a chance to win exciting prizes, including:

Then Join Us for the Celebration!
At 1:30 p.m., join us at the new playground at Bleser Park as we celebrate Delaney's first heavenly birthday with an afternoon of fun, friendship, and remembrance.
