Because You Showed Up

Delaney's habit was noticing people. This community has spent the past year proving that habit is contagious, showing up on billboards, in classrooms, at dance recitals, and around dinner tables that were never her own. Here is some of what that has looked like.

thank you, thank you, thank you

The Live Like Delaney Foundation logo

Even this logo was a gift

Butterflies kept finding their way to Delaney, resting on her memorial brick as if they knew exactly where to land. Lisa Quine turned that into this mark and gave it to us freely, simply because she believed in what we were building.

From I-480 into downtown, nine billboards carried Delaney's words, "You are beautiful, love Delaney," to thousands of drivers who never knew her and needed to hear it anyway.

Wigton Homes

Wigton Homes named a home model after Delaney. Every one built carries a butterfly stamped inside it, and every sale sends $1,000 back to the foundation, kindness built right into the blueprints.

The Print Shop

The pink bunny Delaney chose here on her seventh birthday never left her side. The Print Shop now calls it Delaney's Bunny, and is gifting twenty of them to children in the Pediatric ICU.

Emilie's Coffee House & Wine Bar

For one week, Emilie's turned their counter into a fundraiser for the foundation, and their regulars showed up in Live Like Delaney shirts to make it a celebration. By the time the week closed, they had raised over four thousand dollars.
